Olivia Wardlow, 17, is carving her path in the world of extreme roller skating with bold tricks and an unstoppable spirit. Growing up in Carlsbad, California, she’s been inspiring young skaters to embrace their passions since she first strapped on a pair of skates at age seven. As an L-UV ambassador, Olivia showcases the importance of sun safety while living life to the fullest—whether skating, surfing, or exploring the outdoors.

Because life isn’t lived in the shade!

In September, L-UV had the incredible opportunity to join the Super Girl Surf Pro event in Oceanside, California, as part of the world’s only all-female action sports and lifestyle series. This high-energy event celebrates fearless female athletes and showcases the power of women in sports, music, and creative pursuits.

Our L-UV street team was on-site to connect with attendees, share our passion for sun protection, and spread the word about our SPF products made for active, adventure-ready skin. We handed out free samples of our sunscreens and provided sunscreen applications to anyone who needed a quick touch-up. To make the experience even more memorable, we also gave away branded bags and scrunchies, perfect for on-the-go days at the beach.

Highlighting the event, Olivia Wardlow performed on her rollerskates, embodying the energy and spirit of the Super Girl ethos. Our video team followed her throughout the day to capture her story and create a documentary that celebrates her journey and L-UV’s commitment to empowered, active lifestyles.

In the heart of South Africa lies Molatedi School, 150 bright young minds eager to learn. Yet, their journey to education is often hindered by a lack of essential supplies. Determined to make a difference, the L-UV team embarked on a journey to the School with boxes full of much-needed school materials. .But this was no ordinary charity event; it was a personal mission for us. With our family by our side, we set out to
hand-deliver these supplies, ensuring that every contribution reached its intended recipient.

As we stepped onto the school grounds, we were greeted by smiles that lit up the entire village. The joy and gratitude in the eyes of the students were immeasurable, reminding us of the profound impact even the smallest act of kindness can have. Witnessing firsthand the difference our donation made reaffirmed our commitment to giving back. This is what L-UV
is about – giving back to our friends, to our environment and making the world a little bit better one step at a time.

We pledge to allocate a portion of our revenue to similar initiatives, ensuring that L-UV as a brand ,not only protects skin but also nurtures communities in need. Our experience at Molatedi School was more than just a charity event; it was a lesson in empathy, compassion, and the power of giving.
